About Us

Founded in 2000, Audubon Capital was established to provide innovative structured mezzanine financing solutions to high quality middle market companies. Our preferred form of investment is subordinated debt accompanied with an equity or equity-like feature. We will, however, consider senior secured term loans and preferred stock investments in conjunction with a subordinated debt investment. Our preferred investment size is between $1 million and $4 million, but we have the ability to pursue larger investment transactions with co-investors.

The principals of Audubon Capital have been business partners since 1994 and are co-founders of Cari Capital Company, LLC, a merchant banking firm, and members of the General Partner of Audubon Capital Fund I, L.P., a licensed SBIC. These individuals possess a diverse set of skills including experience in private equity, commercial lending, investment banking, private placements, public accounting, administration and operations. Collectively, they possess over 60 years of private investment experience and have participated in well over 100 financing and investment transactions.
